Water Damage Crews exists for one moment: when water is coming through a ceiling or across a basement floor and you need to reach someone who can deal with it, now. We run a free phone line, open 24/7, that connects callers with independent local water damage restoration companies, and we publish plain, sourced guides for the hours and days that follow.
What we publish
- Guides on what to do first, drying, mold, insurance and costs, checked against the EPA, FEMA, the IICRC S500 drying standard, the Insurance Information Institute and state insurance regulators.
- City pages for 839 US cities, built from public Census, NOAA and FEMA data about local housing, weather and disaster history.
- The Water Damage Risk Index, an open dataset anyone can download and reuse.
- A cost calculator based on published national cost data.
What we do not do
We are not a restoration contractor and we do not send crews ourselves. We do not invent reviews, response times or prices. Our editorial policy explains how pages are researched, sourced and corrected.
